If it is exactly how you describe it: guy gets the flu, Spirit sends him home permanently, that sucks! But as we all know there are always two sides to every story.

That’s how it was presented to us by the training department during indoc (that if you miss more than a few days, you would just be placed in a later class). I fully admit I don’t necessarily know the full story from both sides; but a guy got sick, had to resign from training, and was told to reapply in ninety days.

Can anyone who has gone through initial recently give a run down on the itinerary, what happens on what days? Someone posted a detailed day to day summary a few years ago which was helpful. If someone had the time, it would be appreciated.
Also, on week 3 the home study week, are you given the option of staying at the hotel or do you have to leave?
Thank you.

Sorry if I missed it, but what is the status of the AQP program at Spirit? Last I heard was possibly by the end of this year, or so. Thanks.

The FAA is dragging its feet. Spirit is just waiting.
