Yes you are expected to recite it on the oral. It’s really not that difficult if you put an effort into it.

You’ll also have like fifteen passwords for different sites. It’s great.

That’s not what I’m arguing. It’s stupid they make it your responsibility to put bits and pieces of different manuals together to make the required call out.

As far as I’m concerned it’s it not in the double line box in Com Vol. 1 for the memory iteams then I’m not going to memorize it.

Oh yeah, agree with this. It’s a joke you have to jump between books. The memory/proficiency call outs aren’t even with the memory items. Very easy to not even know there is a call out prior to actions.

Word is also a revision is coming which clarifies that the CA is always the PF on the ground. Seems these flow ideas are not going well

YES!! way in the day ACA had a box in the FOM on the Chief pilot name, and the scheduling phone number, because you were supposed to know that. No box: just need to be able to find it. Box: recite verbatim. And it all should be easily accessible in some training guide.

The instructors will expect you to have them memorized. You will also get evaluated at the end of week two. The evaluation will be flows, DIFSRIP, ABBBA TOPHAT CANE, and call outs.

You will learn them by week two.

DIFSRIP and ABBBA is an actual acronym, but tophat and cane is not. Just a flow pattern.

The preambles are in the very front of AOM vol 2 (why they aren’t attached to the memory items I have no idea)

What are the preamble's listed under? I can't find these in the front of AOM volume 2? Thanks!

A320 app

I don't have an apple product, iPhone or ipad. Is this something we can download on the company ipad when it is issued, or will it be to late by then to have much use? I have been doing it the old fashioned way, paper tiger, and printed out flows. Like others have said this has been rather arduous.
