I hope they arnt making us recite that too on the oral. If so that’s stupid you have to hunt and dig through different manuals to compile the complete profile. I guess I better check the FAM as well to be sure there’s nothing in there.
Yes you are expected to recite it on the oral. It’s really not that difficult if you put an effort into it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

That’s not what I’m arguing. It’s stupid they make it your responsibility to put bits and pieces of different manuals together to make the required call out.

The instructors will expect you to have them memorized. You will also get evaluated at the end of week two. The evaluation will be flows, DIFSRIP, ABBBA TOPHAT CANE, and call outs.

Can you explain to an idiot what those acronyms are? Thanks
You will learn them by week two. DIFSRIP and ABBBA is an actual acronym, but tophat and cane is not. Just a flow pattern. Data Init A Flt Plan Sec FPLN Rad Nav Init B PROG PERF Atis Build Book Brief Approach |
Thank you, really appreciate it. Trying hard to prepare, only have so many penguins on this iceberg.

“TCAS, I have control”... A/P off Etc etc The preambles are in the very front of AOM vol 2 (why they aren’t attached to the memory items I have no idea) |
A320 app
I don't have an apple product, iPhone or ipad. Is this something we can download on the company ipad when it is issued, or will it be to late by then to have much use? I have been doing it the old fashioned way, paper tiger, and printed out flows. Like others have said this has been rather arduous.
