Most of the general public cannot tell who is what position by the uniform, including our own gate agents. If I was offered the pay bump today with the stipulation I had to wear three stripes the rest of my career, I would laugh all the way to the bank.

Regarding the WiFi, apparently they put it on a few planes and quickly found out that moisture was getting into the antenna dome and causing units to fail very frequently. Apparently this made them stop all installation until they find a design fix. Once they do, full steam ahead. Whatever company they’re getting the WiFi through is paying the bills to install them
