My understanding is that it’s a completely new antenna. This isn’t slow GOGO. Apparently it’s a new design and streaming speed.

Thales is the vendor. Moisture was getting onto the antenna, my guess from cold soaking and condensation, but there should be a heat element for that?

Testing and further installs start soon, full fleet end of 2021.

CPDLC is installed in @ 11 airplanes. Will go active JAN or FEB. No plan yet for installing on entire fleet.

True, I meant it more as a " on a list of things that bother me...".
Still beats my last company: no raise until off high mins. First 75 hours I logged jet PIC there was nobody in the cockpit making captains pay.....
