Regarding the WiFi, apparently they put it on a few planes and quickly found out that moisture was getting into the antenna dome and causing units to fail very frequently. Apparently this made them stop all installation until they find a design fix. Once they do, full steam ahead. Whatever company they’re getting the WiFi through is paying the bills to install them

Thales is the vendor. Moisture was getting onto the antenna, my guess from cold soaking and condensation, but there should be a heat element for that?

Testing and further installs start soon, full fleet end of 2021.
