I'll take (have already taken the first dose of) an "experimental" vaccine over an "experimental" virus that is still killing thousands every day.

You'd rather be a guinea pig for a virus that still has many unknown qualities? Okay. There's a greater chance of Covid killing you than the vaccine killing you. There's also a chance that you will survive it only to have long term effects that will prematurely end your career.

I think we know the "qualities" of this virus after a year. If you are in reasonable health and able to get an FAA medical, your chances of dying from it are very, very low. I know, I've already had it and my experience was like a normal cold but much shorter. Maybe you've been watching the news and bought in to the media narrative hook, line and sinker. Why haven't you bid EIL and quarantined at home if your fear level is so high would be my question.
The ones that still are dealing with lasting problems ironically are two of the healthiest people I know, both runners and in very good shape. They struggle mostly with their lung function be much less than pre-covid.
Anyway, lets just all try and respect each other with this and realize people all experience it different. I chose to get the vaccine and feel good about it, granted it was the new JJ one so less "new" technology in it.
