Our pay checks are paid on the 15th and 30th of each month. The 15th check is considered the small
check and is just half your guarantee for the month. The 30th is the large check and is half the guarantee for the month plus any over time flying and perdiem for the previous month. Captains at 200k is releastic but you will have to work some above guarantee. As far as FOs, maybe on can chime in

Really depends on how much you want to work. There’s usually enough open time you could pretty much completely fill your month if you wanted. But a safe bet is probably just plan for 85ish hours once a line holder. That would be somewhere around 9k a month before deductions.

I made roughly $130k in year two with a modicum of hustle and landed only one premium trip. It really depends on how hard you want to work, and how many days you want to be at home. A 2.5 year FO would be relatively senior at Spirit. You could try for min guarantee and make $100-110 while getting 17-19 days off a month or try to string together some 25 hour four day trips and get closer to $140-150k. And some just depends on whether you’re free to take that premium trip when and if the call comes.

I made 120k on 3rd year with zero hustle. I worked as little as I could and didn’t do any premium. I rarely traded in open time and bid for specific overnights with weekends off. Had 17-20 days off per month.

Pulling Y lists, an FO can get to 150k, but not on first year. 126hrs month credit is a captain's 72. Get Y lists that carry an overnight, 20 hours minimum of pay above guarantee every time. Out of BWI, it's easy to score two or three Y lists a month 40 to 60 hours over your 72 as long as you make yourself readily available. Varies month to month. January they didn't call me at all. February im at 3 and the month's not over. Some luck is involved. PS buy silver calls.

Overall this is a very laidback pilot group and people that care only about money don’t fit well and end up frustrated. Would I like to make more money to upgrade my fishing boat? You bet, but not at the expense of not having the time off to enjoy it.
Some time ago and old buddy that works in finance in Wall st called me to tell me that the next week he had 3 days available to fly down to FL for fishing. He said it was last minute and almost impossible for me to make it work, specially in the middle of the week. I looked at my schedule, had a trip on those days. Went to the grid, was green... boom sayonara trip. Texted my buddy 3’ later. We had a great time. I was able to pick up a couple of mediocre trips and made up most of the $. I know he makes around 350k+/year, but I wouldn’t trade my job for his in a million years.
If this little story made you think “this is what I want”, then NK is for you. If you’ll be constantly comparing how much money DL and UPS guys are making, then I suggest you keep trying them. Getting a call from a legacy it’s getting easier and easier.
