dont know what to tell you. I used my own Bose X while flying an rj because it was necessary. I find this plane to be much quieter except for CI 99 at low altitude. And not having to wear even a nice high end headset most of the flight is so much less fatiguing. Since most of us take off the headset in cruise or before I’m simply just not going to carry around my own for the rest of my career. The ship sets suck but whatever. Until this thread I never even knew you could buy packs of the muffs I may do that now. Until then, deal with it chickenxxxker!

Sorry, but incorrect. They can either speak up or talk to themselves until above FL300.

Agreed, I don’t make a big deal about it, but if someone winds up the selected speed on the climb or punches in .80/320 on the descent my headphones stay on. Half the reason is to drown out the other guy’s speaker set at about the 2 o’clock position.

Unless it's a 319, 2'o'clock is barely audible then. Those speakers are ragged out. Mmm but those brake fans!

Everyone still think the ship sets are ok? Clarity aloft user here, I’ll call in sick if I can’t use it.

I haven’t seen a a ship headset used without serious sanitizing. I was always a cockpit sanitizer but I’m being extra thorough now. Can anyone explain to me why the cockpits aren’t ever cleaned. Ever
