Wow why both? I just did upgrade with another captain and the instructors just told the “fo” what to do. They said do not take time learning these. If we do merge you will want our training.

Just tell them you have an interview at (legacy of choice) and you’d like to attend that before coming to NK. They like that.

So in regards to the training program I've got a couple of questions. I searched around and did not see an answer to this so apologize in advance if it has been answered before.

How much self-studying is the week at home during week 3 of the training? Also how much time does it take to learn the flows, memory items, and limitations before you show up to INDOC?

The week at home of systems videos is a lot of time, plan on full day of of videos/note taking for 5 days. Those systems videos will help when you get to systems CPTs (instructor will help clean up what you need to know) with your sim partner and will make the instructor happy that you actually study and paid attention. Also during the week or systems CPTs you be be studying the master question file. As far as the flows, callouts, memory items, those need to be down cold from
day one. Daily studying of flows, master question files, memory items, callouts, setting up the box. Spirit training can be fast paced and if you aren’t ready you can get left behind.
