Spirit Airlines Training

Long time creeper, first time poster.
1. Has anyone used this MCDU Emulator? http://mcdu.equicom.net/
2. Is it good prep for training, only familiarization, or is it a bad source?
Background: I flew for a regional, then jumped to a part 135 air ambulance operator. Life circumstances are dictating a return to part 121. I haven't used an FMS in while and I'm just looking to get familiar with the interface, button pushing, and page navigation. Would like to not feel lost the first time I sit and look at it in the sim.
Thanks.

PS. Once you finish IOE at spirit, apply to United. Don't stay at spirit, and it should only be used as a bridge to United.

It’s a normal feeling, and there will be a lot more studying to do. Having the flows, limitations, and memory items down cold will help free up brain cells for what is to come. Once you have access to all the company manuals and training materials you will deep dive into the why’s and the explanations for the random number and button pushing.
