Sorry, I just don’t see any real sense of urgency on their part. Every F/O I fly with is leaving and they have multiple girls/guys from their Initial classes joining them. I think if mgmt had some kind of skin in the game we’d already have an expedited CBA, not “significant gap remaining “ type of email. That’s why I asked.

This isn’t to establish a new CBA. The contract isn’t even amenable until March. This is early opening to discuss a specific section of the contract and potentially come to a TA that will supplement the current CBA until it is renegotiated. Maybe you should read those emails a little more closely.

No, actually I didn’t, and it’s a very important distinction.
There is only one reason why the company even considered coming to the table early, and that’s because they want relief to help solve their attrition/recruitment problem. Otherwise they would happily take a knee and run out the clock until merger is finalized.
They assumed we could be enticed by a small raise to tide us over till the JCBA with B6, that we would have the “something is better than nothing” mentality.
This is why I’m not surprised a significant gap still exists, and I don’t blame the NC. Bring us their crappy offer so we can unanimously reject it and put the ball back in their court.

But we're not Delta. We aren't feeding transient pax into a hub and loading them into a heavy bound for Amsterdam, or an RJ hopping over to Grand Rapids.
Our only base with a significant amount of transient pax is FLL. In all of our other stations people are usually starting or ending a trip in the point to point network.
