Attrition

Is the rest of your life going to exactly replicate the last 30 days? If so and you’re happy with the last 30, stay where you are.
If there is any chance advancement, pay changes, company solvency, disability, need/desire to relocate, base closure or any other factor might ever surface, analyze whether you’d rather be where you are or someplace else bigger, with better employee protections, and that sells its own tickets.
Most people who look beyond the next month have already answered this ad nauseum. The rest either have not, or are special cases (like looking only at a few years, are indebted to or have other ties to a current employer). Do the math…

I'm a new regional FO just barely off IOE, and I have accepted a job offer from Spirit. Is it really worth it to come over and take a 30-40k pay cut to come fly for spirit? Additionally I would be giving up living in base to being a commuter at spirit. I am new to the 121 world, so I still do not have enough experience to be able to properly judge the differences between a regional and a place like spirit.
