But like I said, I’ll take the bet on the JBLU order book vs your 28000 pilot total. I don’t think there are enough women to join your aviate program to make that happen.
You are right Cinco, United will never have 28k pilots, ever. In fact, I would be extremely surprised if they ever reach 20k. That is simply fairly land. There is simply not enough demand for that amount of flying, nowhere near it. I would not be surprised at all if hiring doesn’t come to screeching halt in 2024 and maybe even furlough soon after. I would not want to be at anyone’s bottom of the seniority list right now.

Current JB jacket is awful. Long trenchcoat thing made of felt.
JB uniform doesn't have a trenchcoat option. There is a wool overcoat.

I said a long trenchcoat "thing" made of felt. You can call it a wool overcoat (it's also long) if you want to.

Sure do, it's the JB all weather jacket, and yes it looks like a trenchcoat and it's not wool.

If you look specifically at what's approved for pilot outerwear, I don't believe that all-weather coat is approved.

Haha...I love you JBLU guys and using the word "approved." Its freaking the wild west over here for unifrom compliance. Literally saw a pilot with a mullet last week. Backpacks are still a common sight, as are hooded jackets (in the terminal). A lot of our guys will need to be house trained after the merger.

I had an Army friend that used to tease me about Air Force uniforms. He asked why we called them uniforms since it seemed like no two guys wore the same uniform on any given day.

Speaking of appearance issues, are visible tattoos approved?

How about a half sleeve? I'm dead serious btw

Look again. It’s an approved option. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone wear it personally though.

I think it’s different than the one with orange trim that the FAs wear.
