if we are only loosing low single digits I will be shocked. We lost double digits in December alone. And about half the F/Os I’ve flown with this month have interviews or been hired elsewhere.
I’m guessing we’ll loose 50 in January, which is still growth, but a big problem.

Yesterday we were at 51. There’s still 5 more days left in the month.

From: baller, shot caller
I keep hearing about CAs leaving, and if true they must be very very junior. I'm just inside 50% globally and I moved up 15 numbers based off the July 2021 seniority list to the current one. Several of those are retirements, and I'm sure a few have moved on but it's not some earth shattering number for those in the top 50%.
Seems like a lot of hollow talk to be honest. I'm not trying to argue whether someone with a good amount of seniority should stay or leave, but these are my observations.

Because anything I’ve said is remotely close to being a management apologist.
Or….. just maybe, unlike yourself, I have been through too many down turns, major economic or geopolitical events, furloughs, and actual stagnation to get my feathers ruffled by a few dozen junior pilots jumping ship for legacy.
I’ve already said I don’t begrudge their leaving, but I’m not running around spooked screaming the sky is falling when the biggest impact any of this has had is that we are upgrading fewer captains this month than last month.
Grow up.

By burying ones head in the sand though might be the appropriate response tbh ( not kidding ) instead of losing ones **** until they get the interview call somewhere else.
I mean hey according to Bendo ( possibly you ) the puerto rico thing was no big deal.
