It is terrible when seniority is “considered” when awarding RAP. I’ve flown with a couple people that live in base and have gotten stuck with R10 and have been abused every month. Only if you get lucky in our Russian Roulette RAP Assignment System and get R03 in LAS will you be hanging out at home.

bUt iT’s beTteR tHaN oTheR MaJorS per the committee...yea maybe Allegiant.

R10 is usually gentleman’s hours as the hard RAPs typically cover the early morning launches or the red eye work out of Vegas. Again, maybe I’ve just been lucky.

Yes growth is the reason for upgrades. They are slowing upgrades do to attrition.

Spirit will nearly double in size i the next 5 years if all the orders and options are delivered and exercised. The question is whether they will be able to man them?

i got a trip today over a guy with an entire year and a half less seniority because “he has one more day left than you”

You really can't complain about that. It is in the CBA, and it makes sense. No reason to burn a 4 day guy on a three day trip, if you have a 3 day guy there.

The way we do RAP assignment after days off, no way to drop/trade, horrible.

it’s in the cba.

it doesn’t make sense. We both had more day available than the length of that trip.
