Ahh lanyard talk. Can’t we just agree to not wear the company lanyard and move along?

It wasn't 5 minutes after negotiations were done when they asked for us to stop wearing the lanyards. (Seriously, ask any of our negotiators past and present)

But sure, yeah, let’s just keep rocking the NFL lanyards, maybe Bendo will like your team.

Same school of thought for those who won’t do the bare minimum of wearing a lanyard, attending picketing events, and they will be the first ones complaining about our contract.
Guys won’t do the bare minimum. But like you say, that USAF lanyard tells us all how patriotic you are.

I don't make excuses. I just don't wear it, and I never will. I wear my 20 year ALPA pin, which has always been the gold standard of showing support for our union. I don't care that a bunch of Millennials have decided that's not good enough. I have no problem telling them where to put their lanyard.

It’s not about what people think about your lanyard. It’s about the collective effect it can have. And if you don’t care about that, it says more about what you think of everyone else than what others think of you. Which is, I don’t care about you.
