And what if JB backs down and Frankie doesn't want that high labor cost contract? Ted stuck paying the bill.

Another interesting play would be if spirit was securing financing to buy frontier. Wouldn’t that be a curveball. Instead of 52/48 ownership percentage in favor of F9.. swap those and spirit become 52% owner .. end result is the same . The two airlines that want a marriage get one.
Both board of directors would approve .. it would be essentially be the same deal and then the shareholders don’t Matter ..

robins only play would be then to try a hostile bid for frontier.. and indigo I believe is major shareholder there and would never allow it.

You think a town call, the same kind that discuss facial hair, will be the place for announcing a multi billion dollar merger with another airline? This is simply Teddys response to the message Robin sent to the employees of Spirit

SAVE stockholders would approve a hostile takeover of B6 before that could happen I think. Making it not possible

Whatever it is I hope it’s soon. It’s apparent our mgmt has intention in running an airline anymore.

Spirit shareholders have until end of June to tender their shares .. and I have serious doubts they’ll get the 51% they desire. Cancel the agreement in principal with frontier as the acquiring airline before the end of June. and enter a new AIP with frontier as us as the purchasing airline.. I Believe there is a fee to pay frontier in that case but it’s not terribly large .. and then assuming JetBlue doesn’t get the 51% shares .. what’s would be there move ? They can’t stop us from buying another airline…
