have you even read it? It literally says "The carriers may rationalize routes; exchange assets other than aircraft and pilots; code share ... prior to reaching a single collective bargaining agreement"
Im assuming your referring to where it says "the company will make all necessary steps to secure a single operating certificate" and "the company ... shall promptly begin negotiations..."
Neither of which indicates a time frame to FINISH negotiations. As long as they take the necessary steps and begin negotiations they can stall as long as they want. There is nothing that says they have to agree to our CBA proposal.

But I’ll let you do you on this instead of wasting my computer ink trying to explain things.

I wouldn’t get too excited. I don’t see any offer regardless of how lucrative it is where Spirit agrees JBU’s proposal is superior. Too many other factors in play and it’s gotten personal. The hostile takeover route is probably a long shot at this point too. Also ISS is “team Frontier” for now.
It was personal as soon as Ted and the rest of the BOD negotiated huge rewards for themselves.

But I did find the section that you must be thinking of. "The operational merger date shall be no later than 180 days following negotiation and ratification, if necessary, of a collective bargaining agreement..."
Problem is that pesky "and ratification" which means the clock doesn't start until the company ratifies (agrees and signs) the CBA.
And even if that wasn't the intent behind the language don't think franky wont interpret it his way and wait until a governing body forces them to comply. How long do you think that will take?

Jetblue went to the big institutional investors and asked what will it take. I bet this last offer is it. Time will tell, but I think F9 is screwed, thank god!

You don’t know much about the land down unda mate. There are lots of pilots working for LCC and regionals in country because Qantas is stagnant, and many more working on expat contracts at dozens of airlines in other countries who would jump ship to the US in a heartbeat.

Yup. I also feel that, despite Frankie saying he was never going to increase the offer, did this $2 more just knowing Blue would come back and spend just another couple hundred Mill. I would he absolutely shocked if Frontier re-ups a 3rd time now.
