That will almost require that a restraining order be put on the buyout until the case is settled.

If JetBlue can’t back up their allegations, they can be countersued.

My guess?

Either

1. The NK BOD finds some fig leaf to hide their embarrassment (like the $3 a share differential) and reverses themselves and goes with B6
2. F9 SUBSTANTIALLY upgrades their offer.
it’s not in the board of directors hands. Shareholders are voting. Shareholders will decide. You don’t trust the board? Then you should be thrilled the fate lies in hand of the stockholders . We’ll know the vote in a few weeks

The option to reverse their vote and decide maybe the JetBlue proposal IS a superior option is MOST DEFINITELY in the BOD’s hands right up until the vote itself.

I blocked 160 hrs last year and made more money than a NK pilot in the same range as me. I spent less than 20 nights on the road.

Except for the part that every shareholder was sent a 14A today where in bold letters it says

"The Spirit board of directors unanimously recommends that the Spirit stockholders vote “FOR” the merger proposal, “FOR” the compensation proposal and “FOR” the adjournment proposal, if necessary or appropriate, including to solicit additional votes for approval of the merger proposal."

If you think for a second the Spirit BOD is still in play, you're wrong. The entire 14A is the NK BODs statement on why people should vote for the merger.

So the only way you support the BOD is if they vote yea to JetBlue? So if they turn around and vote yea without shareholder input then all
good.? they vote no without shareholder input then no good ? Lawsuits ensue.? How about a proxy vote by shareholders and let them decide ? Oh wait… that’s what’s happening ..

I’m just shocked at lol “pilots” are voting because they own stock. Most are armchair quarterbacks, lawyers, economic/retirement gurus amongst other professions. Now we airline merger experts. Jesus help us. How bout the proxy requirement require a explanation of why you voted as such. Dumba$$ reasons get thrown out. Kinda like the guys that ask about beards in a town hall. We are all f’d.

Exactly what im thinking... If any Spirit pilots that live in FL vote down F9 merger so they can cashout there 2,000 shares of Spirit stock at $33. Enjoy your commute to JFK/BOS to sit reserve as a junior CA when you could have just upgraded in FLL in a much quicker time with 500 airbuses on the way with F9. I wonder sometimes about people. But heyy, i made $5000 on my stock yay!! but I love my crashpad in JFK with 7 other dudes farting all night long while i try to sleep for my 5am show. Silly people!! LOL

Which still doesn’t mean they CAN’T change their mind. Not expecting it, and never did. Just stating the possibility exists.

It ain’t over until it’s over

That's where we are at? The Lloyd Christmas school of thought "So you are saying I have a chance?"

Possibility exists for almost anything to happen, doesnt mean you need to take up that stance just for arguments sake.
