true, there is that risk… but I do think this merger easily gets approved

And I think this TA gets easily improved if we go back to the table.

So that’s how it works…

So this Spirit TA is part of the Spirit Frontier merger? Nice!

It shows how badly a contract is needed to solve an issue at both of our airlines. If Frontier and Spirit merged they would have needed to solve that issue fairly quickly in order to staff the airline and grow as they planned. Not to mention the pesky problem of actually completing a merger. Thought that was fairly obvious.

1) Thank God the F9 merger died. Nothing against the F9 pilots, want to work with them, but cant stand that management
2) Franke wont do anything "quick," and I doubt that guy would give the contract that many on here are wanting, just to merge the airlines. This isnt like JBlu where you have 2 different airline business models, Franke runs many ULCC carriers and I dont think for a second he would feel he "needed to solve" any issue quickly.
3) If attrition is so bad at F9, where is the contract to address that? Probably because (see #1 and #2 above)

Again, love the pilots at F9, but cant stand that management group.

100%. Anyone that favored the frontier deal I hope in five years looks at the JetBlue contract and looks at the frontier contract. Also how many bases frontier opens and closes in that time.

Well said. Gonna highlight that so Stayontarget can read it again.

I was a F9 cheerleader until I saw how easily NK pilots can be bribed. If we were to negotiate a JCBA with F9, we would have been the largest lowest paid airbus drivers hands down. Now, I hope the B6 guy take notes on whats heading their way.

Oh I read it alright. Only a year to go until our contract is up for renewal….you got me….

If you want our attrition numbers just scroll up where I posted them already. If you want exact numbers by month I have those too. I really enjoy squashing hearsay with actual data. All good.

All in all I look forward to everybody else getting their raise prior to Frontier. Gives us a goal to meet or beat. Hopefully my teammates are as ready to fight for it as much as I am. In unity.

And their 12 year 320 CAs make $283 +16% DC - and that’s their CURRENT contract. Again, without screwing over there newbies.

So true. I'm not voting for any contact that doesn't give newbies at least $150 an hour and full insurance benefits from day one. The more senior guys can sacrifice a few dollars to help them out.

$150 for first year pay? That’s it??? How cheap are you?

I’m voting NO unless they get $190 for first year pay even during training. Full health and pet insurance from day one as well.
