please tell us, why would a Spirit pilot looking to get out go to Atlas as opposed to United, American, or Delta? Beside that they get the opportunity to help Atlas with its pilot hiring problems?
Also chances are many of you live in Florida. Atlas has three fleets with a Florida base. If you dont' live in Florida Atlas also gateways you so that you can forget about starting at the bottom with crashpads and jumpseating. Finally - maybe (just maybe) some of you are tired of flying a narrowbody and wonder what flying a big boy would be like. |
"I dont think "emphasize" means what you think it means, mayby you empathize?"
That's correct. I meant empathize. Why thank you! |

Lol. Spirit was never meant to be a forever airline. It's an airline you get your type rating at and then bounce asap. During the interview, you should've faked your way through with smiles and laughs just to get past HR. And never mention anything about moving on. Once you finished IOE is when you should've applied and left long ago. Right now it's too late and it's more competitive.

IDGAS about your answer or opinion. Troll, yes. Entertaining, not so much. And yes, APC must have better info than a current Atlas pilot about retirement and pay, how silly of me. Being quarantined has nothing to do with business models or economics. Maintaining a paycheck while quarantined does, and Atlas came out pretty good. Try sticking with an argument that's actually logical... or at least coherent. Guess the paint chips had an effect.
As far as being stuck in Hong Kong, sure it sucks. It sucked being stuck in Iraq for 5 months during COVID with the DoD, but maintaining CRT still beats being furloughed and my family didn't have to worry about paying bills. I'm not inviting you to leave where you are to come to Atlas. I doubt many of us would want to fly with your attitude. Stay on your light twin and enjoy your paycheck. I was talking to those that feel the need to look for something different than where they are now. It's not perfect, but Atlas treats us pretty well. |
