You’ve basically said at this point Spirit is screwed and going to furlough even more. You’ve already been downgraded why the hell would you stay then? It shows you don’t believe half the **** you say on here because if you did you would have been gone a longggggg time ago. Unless there is some reason no one else will pick you up?

Have you ever considered that you’re maybe not as smart as you think, and you have no idea who has applied where, tried to leave, or would have reasons to stay? Has that thought ever crossed your mind? Because it sure seems like you believe everyone should think like you. Now before you make the declaration that I couldn’t get hired at xxx airline, you’d be wrong again. I have my reasons to stay at Spirit, and they’re very valid for me. When this hammer drops, there’s a chance that changes. We all make our decisions, and we all live with the consequences. Many of our decisions don’t take into account what you think.


It also seems that you believe we are “making this up.” So you believe that a group of us got together to conspire against Spirit, and post it on APC? Many people are now having stories that align, and I have no idea who these other guys are, but we are making this up? Does this pass your logic test?

 

Im more hearing furloughs, but a little less than 200. Also only two base closures, DFW and ORD. But then you hear the other extreme; up to 900 furloughs, 4 base closures and possible liquidation Q1. The extreme bad news version seems to be coming from an ALPA guy waiting on an American class date. No clue which version is true.

 

Like the times before, there are some inconsistencies, but one thing is for sure. Something is about to happen.

I'm not sure what you’re referring to as my “past track record,” but I’m sure you’re right. It’s quite super sad how, because you would have done something different, it seems to be a problem for you that someone else didn’t. That really indicates a “you” problem.

 

Nothing is off the table yet!. If you’ve been on the fence about applying elsewhere, this could be your sign to act now. These aren’t rumors. If you were privy to information that could affect over 2,500 of your fellow team members, wouldn’t you try to warn them and give them a head start?

 

Just to add, it doesn't really cost you much to apply and interview. You don't have to take the job if you are offered one. Generally, CJOs are good for a year+, so you can wait it out at Spirit and still have something in your back pocket. It seems like Boeing has cranked up production and will actually start delivering airplanes again, so the legacies should be ramping up hiring again.

 

Let’s hope for legal reasons this person isn’t being malicious.
