what was occurring was occurring that led to the audit is what matters. Do you really think a US government agency is going to put one of our premier Airlines on blast to the rest of the world? No they’re not. just like any other country isn’t gonna do it to their own airline, they’ll handle it internally. Hell, most countries do their best to keep things quiet to save face.
so what exactly was the problem?

You don’t know how AirTran would’ve come out of a blocked merger with Southwest. There have been a lot of people royally f’ed in this industry, it’s weird how some AirTran pilots won’t let it go this many years later, despite being at a very large company that is extremely well paid.

I don't know man, I think the other poster has a point.
I am also starting over and trying to explain to people what is actually happening always leaves them what a strange look of concern on their face.
They (the customer) would much rather prefer to have the more experienced pilot sitting in the left seat.
I know I know, seniority and all, but the rest of the world in every other industry heavily weighs experience.
Maybe it's time we change that before another lesson is learned in blood.
