you can regurgitate all the BS you want but it doesn’t make any of it have any substance. Fred already posted the results which were stellar.

so what exactly was the problem?

AirTran wasn’t in bankruptcy nor were they in dire straits like you are right now. Apples to oranges.

Spirit wasn’t in bankruptcy for the first 2 merger attempts either and I know that doesn’t change where we’re at now but if we did have an ISL with JetBlue there would plenty of ****ed off pilots thinking they got screwed. With hindsight we’d be way better off in every regard.
You don’t know how AirTran would’ve come out of a blocked merger with Southwest. There have been a lot of people royally f’ed in this industry, it’s weird how some AirTran pilots won’t let it go this many years later, despite being at a very large company that is extremely well paid.

They (the customer) would much rather prefer to have the more experienced pilot sitting in the left seat.

I know I know, seniority and all, but the rest of the world in every other industry heavily weighs experience.

Maybe it's time we change that before another lesson is learned in blood.
I find it funny you’re poisoning the well at your new airline and telling your prospective customers your airline is unsafe.

How do you explain to them your decision to stay on the titanic for the past five years? Or do you not mention that part
