That's because everyone who just upgraded previously bypassed. The most junior captain in the company is probably flying the line already and he was hired 7/12. What's that, 2 years, 7 months?

At 6 CUGs a month, it will be a lot longer than 2yrs 10 months. Are there plans to accelerate these classes anytime soon?

Don't look at a micro number like the
CUG currently and project it out on a macro scale.

Look at the delivery schedule and staffing model and you'll have a better estimate.

It's clear we are just heavy on CAs currently, based on the number of FOs being hired vs CUG for the next month and the last few.

It will begin to trend up. Guys hired this year are looking at 2020 upgrades based on that delivery schedule. I had a new ground instructor tell me be thinks he is in line for a 2.5 year upgrade, after he does his 2 years in the schoolhouse. Yeah, not going to happen.

Is it sad I only want to upgrade so I can make people call me CA and boss around gate agents & Flight attendants?

Spirit Airlines | Audries Aircraft Analysis

Acording this website it says a guy like me hired in 2016 wont upgrade until ....."beyond 2030"

Considering my age, probably should relook going to Spirit
