Spirit of NKS
well, i didn't doubt it unofficially but officially i heard directly from the MEC that this wasn't the case so I went with that. At the least it was a misunderstanding and at worse a credibility gap. I guess we'll just have to see what happens from here because I am sure they are going to be called out on this.
Our boy is all grown up!
Seems like only a few short years ago B^3 was on TV explaining how the now innocuous MILF sale didn't really mean what we all know it meant. Every time I think marketing has jumped the shark, here comes a more outrageous campaign. Welcome to the DTF sale. You gotta love these guys.

I know I'm in the minority but we're "taking it in the back" here is how I see it. What can you possibly see in this LOA that gives that impression? The company is not just gonna throw money on the table. I wish I could live in this mythical land so many of you do where we get these amazing pay raises just because everyone else is. Now they know commuters can be scared of commuting and others can be scared of scenarios where they could possibly make less money. Throw in fear of a base closure or longer upgrades and we'll have PBS in no time.
We will get hosed come contract time.

Fellow Pilots:
Your MEC Officers and Negotiating Committee held a preliminary meeting with Company officials on*February 12, 2015, to discuss the outlook for negotiations and the parties’ priorities. The meeting was constructive and should set the stage for efficient negotiations. We will keep the membership informed of any further developments.*

*Interesting......So Amongero and Hopkins sit down for lunch in Miramar yesterday with the LOA yes votes in hand, saying, " we control the pilots as you see, lets talk."

Until they jam a shiit sandwich of a contract down my throat.
Next I'm expecting their overstafling to allow a pause in hiring/upgrades, possibly a furlough to scare us into a hastily engineered contract.
You watch and see. Mark my words.

Whew... let's hope we can get more of this discussion onto NKPilots so the entire industry and news papers can see less of our business. Or not lol
I need to get that willy wonka picture and turn it into a meme
"So you think the union is trying to limit your pay and screw you every chance we get?
Tell me more about how unions work."

At this point we need the wall street type to see some of this, if Ben lets section 6 drag on wall street will step on Bens neck and let him know that all the promises set forth over the past 4 years will not vaporize because of a pilot group.
This could be a good thing!
