I fully agree.
Therefore I am asking all who have been affected, or care about work rules, to join in a group grievance.
We need to be contacting the Scheduling committee with our concerns. This is not a personal matter, an individual grievance or a NCC is not the effective way to proceed.

Disappointed with the 70% yes vote.
To stay on course and optimistic, I need to convince myself that this is not indicative of how the group will be voting this summer.
It may not be a positive sign, but not the end of the world either.
Only consolation is that this LOA is a miniscule detail in comparison to what is being decided this summer.

Preseason:
Company 1
Pilots 0

I know I'm in the minority but we're "taking it in the back" here is how I see it. What can you possibly see in this LOA that gives that impression? The company is not just gonna throw money on the table. I wish I could live in this mythical land so many of you do where we get these amazing pay raises just because everyone else is. Now they know commuters can be scared of commuting and others can be scared of scenarios where they could possibly make less money. Throw in fear of a base closure or longer upgrades and we'll have PBS in no time.

This is why the notion of us being the next Southwest is laughable. At least in terms of rich work contracts anyway

Truly sad and a preview of things to come.

Sorry, I don't buy into that negativity. Others (70% of voters) apparently had a different perception of this LOA than you. Everyone I talked to that was voting Yes thought it was fair for us and them. Fear had nothing to do with it.
We have no reason to be scared of anybody. Look at the big picture - looming pilot shortage, airlines growing, making money, mass retirements in coming years. The future is bright for us, unless we give up before we even start.

I know you will be fighting the good fight, M. Our management will most likely play hardball in the next coming years. But I feel we are in a stronger postition than they are. If we are going to make the best if it, we can't hang our heads and assume we are going to be disappointed. Cheer up will you!!

Oh Jesus really?, why does everyone have such a hard-on for this guy. He was Lorenzo's Lawyer for Christsake.

He'd rape & pillage his employees if they let him. same thing here. Spirit guys took a stand and went on strike, I'm pretty sure management is looking at this round of negotiations slightly different than last time.

If one were to make a 20 question exam quizzing you on the facts of the DL LOA I wonder which group would score higher... The yes voters or the no voters.

If only a test like this were to be applied to the general public during elections.
