I know that we hear so many rumors and some of these are posted here, but I have to say that my source is a good one, and there is hope for all of us (furloughed ) to be back... If we take a look at the other airlines and our peers, we have a good market $$$$$$$$.... Good for you Poker!!!!! congrats.

Angel. I hope you and your source are as accurate as you say. I'll talk to mine and see how much water he holds about the bad news that they are expecting soon. He stands by it.
But like I said, I hope yours is right.

I've also heard that the "four aircraft" are back on our operating certificate (I have no way of verifying that); however, Indigo is in a "wait and see" mode and may or may not bring these aircraft back online. My gut feeling is that it depends upon market conditions and opportunities.
Indigo feels that we are adequately staffed and can absorb more flying just by decreasing the number of reserve lines in the near term. Think about it...how many reserves are actually flying right now? Very few.
I've also been told that Indigo was only "willing" to recall 8 pilots in response to the 5 day off arbitration award. We can thank PO and MA for getting 4 more added to that list (for a total of 12 recalls). I guess PO and MA saw this as their "opportunity" to get more guys back on property because they know Indigo will try to run this place critically lean. This gives us some buffer.

Just talked to my source, BAD NEWS, the Co. plans to park 2 more AC, nothing on those 4 you are talking about. Possible downsize of ACY or DTW or closure. Definitely furloughs again....
Ill keep digging.

If this is all true, this could well be the beginning of the end for Espirito Wing...I've NEVER seen an airline downsize itself to profitability, especially because you have to FLY aircraft to INCREASE revenues. Man...this would absolutely suck.
