Be careful what you wish for. Being downtown would take significantly longer in time to get there. I like to Chicago layover, I think there's lots to do. To each his own. There is lots to do in the areas where we have longer layovers. I would not want to be at a close hotel and be stuck in the hotel all day.

This is for the iPad type rating. The rest will be during your recurrent month. That's when everyone is doing stuff in cruise or in the hotel like they were so excited to do for "industry leading" DL language.

Life must be very difficult for you, having to endure those kinds of hardships!

Kinda beating a dead horse but if you're eating at TK's you are doing it wrong. As has been touched on, if you're the urban explorer type and you have 30 hours to sate your intense craving for some f2t or whatever there are plenty of ways to do it without forcing those of us on 13:45 "scheduled" overnights to ride a pre-arranged van for over an hour in traffic. Not sure how GL holiday pay policy relates to us. 100% of certain regionals' new hires are getting $10,000 signing bonuses. How would $112 make up in any way for the other 360ish days of the year you're just making $14/hr.?
