Maybe you are confused because you arent familiar with their current pay and profit sharing.

I've always said, " Dont defend something you havent been accused of yet." They are defending this contract before releasing it. They know it sucks.
You beat me too it .

If the TA gets to where the surveys said get there's no reason to pump it up. Right now there trying WAAAAAAY too hard to perfume this pig. Disagree? Then tell us why they're promoting it.

I just heard that we will be asked to think of pay scales as they relate to longevity at the airline versus longevity in our seat. In other words, a pilot who upgraded in three years should not compare to a three year Delta Capt, he should compare himself to a three year Delta FO.

Where are you seeing they're promoting it or pumping a TA? I've taken the email to give us news on what's going on, that both sides are close and that conference calls are in the future to help explain it. I guess I'm just not seeing the issue of educating the pilot group on what's in it. Sheesh! If they didn't send out emails and updates people would say 'they never give us any news!'. Now that their sending out more emails people are thinking theyre trying to snow us over. Makes no sense. And how can it be a pig if we haven't seen it yet? Let's get the TA first then start bashing it if it need to be bashed.

Christ....bust out the tin foil hats. I'm sure MM has his company paid S65 AMG Benz on order already.

Geaux Pro may be on to something. When did the NC change from 'Focused Negotiations' to full contract review? I dont remember getting that email.

So is this an interim patch like they originally suggested? Something isnt adding up.

It goes into full contract review when the expectations of the surveys fall short.

I doubt that's true. If so they can go ahead and send it back now. There may not be 3 year narrow body captains at the legacies right now but our upgrade is getting much longer and there will be three year narrow body captains at the legacies before our new contract is over.
