Frisco, I heard him say a PEB intervention was highly unlikely...

I guess it depends who you talk to, but 90% of the ones I have conversed with are expressing deep disappointment, and are considering voting no. That is why our union leadership ought to at least develop a strategy for dealing with a possible no-vote, and the consquences needs to be made crystal clear to the membership. When addressed in todays conference, the issue was murky at best.

Ram what would you give up for another 10 % pay increase, you appear to be smart enough to know that you'll have to give something up for it, right?
We have been giving something up for 7 1/2 years +. How long have you been here, Sailor?

Yes, I listened. Most was what I expected, however I was a little irritated that the time and a half issue was not addressed, other than that it will be dealt with at the road shows. This is the biggest pay hit issue, much more than the insurance increases.

I didn't quite get the pay scale, maybe I'll get it during the road show. I thought I heard that we reached 90 % parity with the average of jblu and the Air Tran failed TA. Why are we using a failed TA to measure parity?

Also your data on jblu is incorrect, perhaps a more official source then a couple pilots you talked to would be better. Trip and duty rigs are alive and well. I also I thought it was funny when they said you don't want to pin everything on jblu because their pay tops out at 158. They also get 150% over 78 hours (that's 237/hr for those above the 40th parallel.) Sounds pretty good now that my line can be built to 90 hours.

I will give all involved on the call credit. They put a lot of lipstick on this pig, but its still a pig. We'll see how it goes with a live audence at the road shows. Maybe they can stand up to cross examination, maybe not.

Frisco, I concur with you 100%.

Doesn't mean I didn't want more and was somewhat disappointed by the pay rates at first glance, but after taking a few "steps back" and looking at the contract as a whole; I can live with it

I thought they made it clear; your entering unchartered territory. And Like frisco said, we will prob end up with a crappier contract, or none at all. Didn't you hear Luby say that the cost the company incurs during our self help action will be viewed and taken into consideration? Your not going to get any better than what has been negotiated. Lets get this place to growwe've already taken delivery of aircraft; what makes you think they will stop now?

Wow, that ONE point really sucks for you, huh? So if you had your 150%, would you vote yes, or find something else to beat up on? Stop being such a Debbie-Downer!

Is that you, Mr. Grazel?
You are obviously trying to convince everyone to vote the way you want them to vote. Crappier contract or none at at all you say.... Did you have that opinion on June 12 as well? Are we back to conceding our goals for this contract so we can allow the company to grow?

If a no-vote leads to such dire circumstances, why even put it to vote, then?

If you were irritated, why didn't you ask a question about it? They answered all questions, including the one asked that confused their statement about Jetblue with Spirit. Send them an email and they will address it in the road shows. Or go to the road shows and ask. But ask.

Hey now! I didn't sign off with GB

Im not trying to convince anyone; people are going to vote how they want no matter what. Why do you view going from a -$30Mill contract to one thats over +72Mill, conceding? And why put out a vote? well I guess thats the way the system works

I didn't ask because I didn't have e-mail access during the conference. You are right, we must ask. We must not speculate or assume. "Probably" is not good enough.
