Actually...I don't believe an IPO is in the works...I think a more likely scenario is a sale of the airline. I've been wrong before and I may be wrong again....we'll see.

Obviously, we, the YES voters, YOUR majority, of YOUr pilot group don't think that the IPO is that life changing to have voted NO.

Are you gonna keep coming back just to antagonized us, or are you going to be supportive and productive.

The NO voters as much as the YES voters, for the most part are over it, and moving on. For your own sanity, I suggest the same.

Cheers

Aside from a select few, who sold thier options early on, most of those guys and gals at jblue, are very upside down on the company stocks. Last I checked it would have to tripple for most of the 2003-2006 guys to break even. Depends... bottom line JB was no SWA stock program. fwiw...

No, you cost me money. I would of had double the signing bonus and 10% more pay, but you helped me not get that. Oh well, we'll get 'em next time....

Kenny Rogers said it best....You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em, no when to walk away, know when to run.....

From the MEC furlough rep:

Hello Everyone

There have been a few questions concerning the anticipated recall of
furloughed pilots at the end ot 2010.

Here are some of the tentative details that we are projecting will be
solidified in the next month or so:

1. The first group of recalled pilots is tentatively projected to
enter a training class in October 2010 to start flying in November or
2010.
2. Subsequent training classes are tentatively projected to follow in
November and December.
3. New Hire pilots are tentatively anticipated to come on property in
the First Quarter of 2011.

The bottom line is that recall of ALL furloughed pilots is being
planned between October 2010 and the First Quarter of 2011. Whatever
you situation is please start thinking about your acceptance of a
recall or deferral until the point of a MANDATORY RECALL. *The
tentative plan is that there will be a month by month attempt at
getting small groups of furloughed Spirit Pilots back on property.
Based on the number of deferrals and the companies need for bodies
back on property a MANDATORY RECALL may happen some time in November
2010 or December 2010 or First Quarter of 2011. I am sorry to be vague
but there are a large number of variables in this equation and we will
not know how the whole process will shake out until it begins. As in
the past, I am assuming that a company representative*will be calling individuals (from the top of
the list down) in an attempt to get a (yes I will becoming back / no I
will be deferring) response prior to the official recall letter
hitting your mail box. Again, depending on how many deferrals occur,
the process of going through the entire furloughed pilot list may
happen quickly and if the companies need for pilots exceeds the number
of acceptance responses, a MANDATORY RECALL (either accept recall at
that time or resign permanently) will occur and hopefully you know
what your final answer will be.

If you have any questions about this please feel free to contact me
and I will address your questions.

Sincerely

Pretty promising looking by the sounds of things.

Default Sorry to be vague?

Glad they were able to pin it down to maybe kinda sorta in the neighborhood of the area around six months or so. Very reassuring, very promising. Meanwhile, enjoy that 90 hour line build!
