Straight from BBB himself...take it FWIW!!
2 more ac this year. 3 ac in the first few months of next year. 5 on firm order for 2011, options for more.
Lots of new domestic destinations coming...Dallas, Denver, Latrobe PA. Quite a few Mexican destinations as well.
Bases...ACY and FLL not going anywhere, doing great. DTW still very much up in the air depending on what DL does up there.
Thats all I got. All good news though, nothing negative.

When Americans start buying American produced autos. That's when DTW will come back.
I'm doing my part.
New DTW Focus. New Edge from DTW and right across the river in Canada. Dodge Ram from USA (VIN says so). Old Ranger from USA (VIN) says so.
Harley from USA. Boots from Texas. Heck, I do without before I buy Chinese. Seriously, I only buy foreign when there is absolutely NO other choice.
If the AFL-CIO really wants to bring back middle class jobs, they should renew the "buy American" campaign.

Sounds a lot better than the MINS back in 08, but thats another pickle.
We haven heard anything about another call, (very soon though), that should take us thru the rest of our pilots on the ST, and may fall into a mandatory recall.
My guess, this pre-selection of candidates is for the JAN11-FEB11 ,first new hire class since 08.
Rumor has it that BBB has announced the arrival of more ships this year and some more exotic destinations. We welcome all that with open arms and legs, BUT WE HAVE TO SEE IT (one of the most important rules under 121).
Cheers, staying positive and optimistic has it's rewards!

I just heard yesterday that interviews will begin in a few weeks for a Jan/Feb class. I expect the furloughed guys will hear something VERY soon.
