Are they still telling him that!!!??? Thats just not fair to him. I dont think anyone has any intention of sending him out to get an airplane, and to keep stringing him along is just plain wrong.

Or which is the more Spirit pilot friendly?

Thanks,

JN

You can JS with whoever we have agreement with. Delta is a good one for Europe. You can't sit in the cockpit. Seat available only. Not sure if you can use the FA JS on those. Take a look at the JS agreement I think it is in the manuals. As far as friendly? I don't think anyone cares who we are. We are a dot on the windshield. I have never had problems once past the gate agent. That is the battle. Sometimes.

Going to Europe is not an issue. There is always a seat available. Coming back is always nightmare. Flights are usually all full. I got stuck one time three days trying to go home. Not fun. Just make sure you have a backup plan. I didn't.

I hope they finally let him go. Its the right thing to do. They have been dangling that carrot for years. I think he has said that to me in every recurrent I have had here.

On the JS question, I know of a few guys that used to go over there regularly on NWA, but since they combined with DL im not sure how the process would go. It was always a good experience on NW from what I have heard.

If it were me I would look into United as well.

Good Luck!

Nothing has changed as far as the jumpseat goes on DAL. There has to be a seat open in the back. Your best bet getting home would be thru AMS as we have 15+ dep. a day back to the states.

It is in Orlando. It's getting some interior work done. The next one, N606NK, is already on the assembly line. Don't believe those rumors that we are getting 12 a/c this year. It won't happen.

Ha ha... 12 Aircraft in 2011 rumor(s) Not even April 1st yet

If I'm not mistaken, they need to do some in-house "things" on the maintance side before they take more airplanes?

Any way, Here is looking forward to 2011; Spirit's "Big Year?"
