Can someone share some info about the ACY base? How many crews? Pairing structure? Line Structure? Dropping trip flexibility? OT availability? How long on reserve and reserve obligations (ie 2 hr call out.) Anything else that would seem pertinent for someone living in North Jersey looking to work for Spirit.

ACY based pilots are required to have a Convair Model 118 type rating. The plus side is they get to clean the aircraft three seats prior to the security check personnel.

F you Mr. Exterminator. Fatigue report filed. My first overnight so, no... - bed bugs were not 'imported'... Blackstone is a sheeet hotel. This photo was taken a month ago, around 12pm after have arrived at 1am'ish arrival. We had a red-eye to Dallas that night. 2 out of the 5 crew waited for a room upon arrival. Witnessed a crime scene 2 blocks away - roped off, news cameras, little orange cones on the ground marking evidence. Hotel committee working on the issue(s)...

Budgeted under Training?
Just a guess. The numbers (training budget) and timeline sure seem to match.
Maybe a wake up call to the current group that awarded themselves an arbitrary number and have done so well with the certificate transfer?
The tallest blade of grass in the NK parking lot is the first to get cut.
Just a guess though as I have no inside info and desire none.

My guess is the Mgr. of Tng/Std's that was brought in to replace JC as senior ground IP. Same budget number and timeline, change the job description a tad. The Director of Training at NK has a finite number of positions as well as a finite dollar amount to spend. It must balance.
