As a FYI the sample jackets that are floating around from base to base are half cheap and half of the upgraded material. Both suck and only one of them had a size tag on it. I need a 42L and tried on the one and only jacket with the size tag. It was a 44 and the sleeves stoped halfway between my elbow and wrist. I'm not about to pay the extra $200 for a jacket that might fit and is still made of crap material.

On your next FLL overnight, leave your crap uniform at at the CP's office, I've heard he's running his own personal sweat shop with sowing machines and all. (not that the planned this ahead buying this crap), btw it is payroll deductible in 4 easy payments., not before alpo takes its cut.

Payroll deductibe means I'm still paying for it. I paid for it when I was a new hire. Just because they want to change colors doesn't mean I should pay extra for a jacket and pants that actually fit. That includes any alterations I need done.

it's free, but the "Taylor Made" Alterations aren't! lol

I think the great majority are getting match colors slacks of better quality. So essentially we pay again, new hire or not.

They do reimburse you once finish your 2nd year. You just have to go through the interns in the crew room. So at the end the first one is free as well.

Does anyone know where to get preliminary info about the new health insurance if you didn't get to go to the meeting?

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe someone should call the new com chairman.

ATTENTION! Someone that doesn't mind getting screamed at, please contact the com chair and report back.

Thank you!

Excuse me? Your comm chair is your guy isn't he? Why would you be afraid of getting screamed at by your union guys?

You would have to know him and our union to understand. His reputation is to get worked up and yell before gathering all the info. So its ironic (and probably a little sad) that he is our new comm chair.
