Before this reduction, how big is DTW in CAs and FOs?
#5262
Maybe someone who works at spirit could back me up on this but wasnt DTW more than 100 crews at its height before they switched to become a ULCC and focus on FLL flying?
Lets hope for people who live in DTW this is not the begining of more bad news and just right sizing. Good luck

Huh? It was a honest question. Do you ever have anything positive to say?

He started in on JC about this and won't let it go; saying that if you had started at Spirit, AirTran, Virgin or JetBlue 2003-2007 you would be a captain by now and senior at half of them. When it was pointed out that a 2001 hire at NK is not a "senior" CA, he began to call for someone who worked there to counter. Then he said it all depended on your base. It was pathetic.

You didn't write "that a 2001 hire at NK is not a "senior" CA."
You wrote (quote) "Yeah, OK a junior CA at Spirit is a 2001 hire still on reserve."
That led me to believe you were talking about the most junior CA at NK. I asked you are you talking about the most junior pilot at Spirit overall, or the most junior Captain in a certain base?
You didn't answer.
Then I wrote that I had confirmed with a current Spirit pilot that indeed the most junior Captain was hired in late 2007 based at the DFW base.
Then you finally chimed back into the thread (after staying silent on purpose, refusing to comment) that a 2001 CA is still on reserve but isn't the most junior.
True, but it doesn't change the fact the most junior Captain is still 6 years below that in late 2007.
It was a play on words and I misunderstood what you wrote to be most junior. And is it "pathetic"? What is pathetic is certain people that like to blow things out of proportion and take things a little too seriously.
