619 has been ready for almost two weeks. It's sitting on the ramp in Toulouse. I was just told the expected delivery has been pushed to March 21st. I don't know why.

So the next system bid on FLICA closes APR 30? The last award ( when it finally came out) says upgrade classes are APR 8, and 16th start dates. The eight who just got it are in class this month. Does anyone know when the next bid closes?

I think it's a miss print on FLICA, hey Scott, do you know what's up with that?

The next bid hasn't been published yet. When it is published, the bid close date in flica will be updated. Right now the bid is open to satisfy the CBA requirement that a pilot be able to modify his/her system bid preferences at any time. For planning purposes, you can anticipate the bid to close no later than 5 days prior to the first upgrade class in the month.

BoredwLife- you happen to know the style of pants you picked up from BR- are they considered dark navy as their website states?

Thanks

Ask that explaining Captain for a written copy of that MEC policy. I'm sure policies are all documented in some form of constitution or manual. I would love to see it! Please scan and post...

Here it is:

Fellow Pilots:
Negotiations under the direct supervision of NMB member Linda Puchala concluded yesterday. I will defer to the negotiating committee to provide any and all relevant details concerning those talks, we did not however, reach an agreement. We expect to hear something from the Board concerning our case, perhaps by early next week.

I have personally received several phone calls, as have many others, concerning proposed rates of pay and other details about negotiations. These reports have apparently come from the "spiritpilots" web board. Whatever is written there is FALSE. Whoever runs that board does not have accurate information. Further, those who run that web board, post on it, or actively participate in the rumormongering that takes place there, are doing this entire pilot group a disservice. If these half-wits on that board actually took the time to pick up their phone and give their REAL Leadership a simple phone call, they could actually get factual information. These people should be shunned, and treated as pariahs as they are actively seeking to undermine and destroy this pilot group. They will not succeed.

So, spread the word. If you want real information, tell people to call your true union leadership not those who hide behind internet message boards like cowards in the dark.

Thanks,

Paul XXXXXXX
