If this CIO was the one in charge of our internet and access to sites, technology stuff, connectivity between, interphase, etc...........well about time!, hopefully we will get someone better, who's next in VX?.

You would think being a SFO airline we (VX) would be at the bleeding edge of IT. Not so. You can have our IT department.
Seems VX & Spirit are alike in not being able to keep managers.
Joe was a stand up guy at Virgin.

Huh? So is Spirit in bed with Virgin America since many mid- upper level managers came from there. How about Atlas? We lost a round of managers and trainers to them a few years back. Confusing statement, how else in WN in bed with NK?

Take the NKS - SWA gate swap DCA/BWI for example. Many believe SWA allows NKS to operate in and around them to lock out other potential competitive threats.

That move was pure liquid fresh cash.

Exactly, DCA being a business and public sector centric airport no longer fit Spirit's model (at least no better than BWI could), plus expansion wasn't possible as it is at BWI, so they put the slots up for sale and WN bid the most for them. That's it, no collusion, no intentional locking others out.
