Hey any Spirit guys live in the DallasFW area? I do the commute to ORD and endure the 11-day off left seat exploitation grind with a large regional. Any of you game for a couple beers in trade for insight on how to become an NKS co-worker?! I like the 15 day-off concept for starters.
There is plenty of information here and 2 other threads on how to join Spirit. But I doubt that offering beers on a public forum would do any good to get you on.
I'm sure you are a honest good person, but don't go this route, it's a little creepy. If don't believe me, approach one of us at the airport, offer to talk about your possibilities at NK over a drink...I don't think it'll go well.
One thing we LOVE here at Spirit is the people we fly with every day. Thankfully there have been a few red alerts when Weirdos, Arses, ETC, try to join us, and were stop at the interview.
If you don't have an internal recommendation the best bet is to go to a job fair, be honest and seriously best of luck.

Meh, I don't know if I agree entirely. I think reaching out locally like GTO is trying to do is an acceptable means to get to know current NKS guys/gals. It's called networking and it....works. I say go for it and good luck in finding someone to take you up on your offer!

Thanks Cruise...I rarely post on the forums and dont wanna start off wrong but I feel there's nothing odd/creepy about trying to network outside of flying. Its important and along the way you may actually make good friends with people. Sure the forums are informational but human element seems to be discarded by all of us these days. Outside of family time and work, most of us probably have little time for much else but just thought I'd throw a line out there.

I'll tell ya, networking is ALL-IMPORTANT!
There's NO way I would've been hired here, let alone gotten an interview without it.
Good luck to ya! Don't give up hope, this is a sweet place to be.
