Only someone who's never done the regional thing or worked at a sh!!bag outfit would say this. It may be hard for someone to believe that a regional could be better. Senior at good regional means $150-175k and 16 days off without having to watch open time on your days off.

Ok. Perhaps it's an exagartion. But guys at my seniority have been well north of $100/yr for years now. And I'm not measuring johnsons. I was trying to illustrate the need to (as said earlier) wake up and realize Spirit doesn't have any new orders suggesting and upgrade or a FO pay scale worth leaving a RJ captain spot for.

The hourly rate doesn't tell the whole story. The work rules are great here and you can make a lot if you want. It's all gravy after year two for me from here on out. It hurts for sure in the first year, but you have to look at the big picture.

This airline is going to be huge. If you think the growth will stop at 144 then again your not seeing the big picture

I've had two Union reps tell me that both Bendo and Baldanza have said this will be a 400 airplane fleet by the time they're done with it.

The gazillion-dollar question, however, is how do we get there from here?

All organically, or merger + additional growth?

You should see our lines! Factor in work rules and this is the place to be. If you need a day off just drop the trip and pick up open time. If you sit reserve drop the days! You don't have to call and ask if they have coverage! You can see it!
