For those getting the call: what are you times? Are they coming down any?

Spirit is pretty high up on the list for me but the high total total time people are getting interviews is not close at this time.

Upwards of 4000TT. PIC anywhere north of 1000TT.

Best of luck to the guys who interviewed today.

I had a great time meeting the Spirit Reps at the job fair! I am ever hopeful to get the call! Does anyone know if there is a quick, easy way to add a letter of recommendation or two to my online resume/application packet? (I am also trying to move my packet up on the call list) I just got one from a Flight Safety instructor/examiner that left my ego in 'super boost' mode(and me a little bit weepy.) Also, any input on choosing between Spirit(great after 3+ years, a 'bit of a sacrifice' before; but even with TA talks in progress, it is the BEST 121 carrier to go with) or a fractional with double the first year pay, and capping out in the mid six figures?

You visited the Flexjet booth didn't you?

Hoping to get the call myself from Spirit. The little mini-interview in DEN went pretty well.

For those interested, as far as "accepting resumes only" went, it was 2-5 minutes (YMMV) of 1-on-1 sitting at a table. They also did a short presentation with Q&A for 30 minutes.

I've never been to a fair before so I don't know if this is the norm or not, but to those curious how it went, there ya go. Good luck all.

Best 121 airline? You know you'll need to pass a drug test to get hired right? Spirit pays less than Allegiant years 1-7, and rumor has it that MGMT is now no showing negotiations...

One of the recent new hire classes has three 777 pilots in it. Average times in that class seemed to be around the 8,000 hour mark with everyone having at least 1,000 PIC. 4,000 hour RJ FO's still do get hired though. Persistence seems to be the key.

That's a shell game bra. Your work rules, min guarantee, line bids. We lose thousands just based on the fact we don't have line bidding anymore. He’s right to cream his pants for your contract. Our management shows up to negotiations with an army of FH attorneys, pulling every lawyer trick in the book.

That's just wrong. And Spirit's 2010 contract makes you do that? They are currently fighting the good fight to get something better. It was signed in one of the worst times in recent aviation history when almost every big carrier was in or freshly out of BK.

I am thinking about waiting until late tomorrow afternoon and calling her back if she hasn't already called me. Any thoughts/ideas?
Sandi is very busy. She'll get back to you. I don't think calling her tomorrow would hurt but just be patient. If you have her email sometimes that works better.
