Congrats to everyone who got the call.

Dont want to rain on anyones parade, but I want everyone to know that upgrade times are NOT what anyone at a job fair or CEO says they are.

If you get hired today, you will not upgrade with our current book of aircraft through 2021. So to see an upgrade we will need more airplanes and even if that happens, it will be after 2021.

Upgrade is approaching 3 years for pilots hired 3 years ago, not for pilots hired today or last year.

Just want to make sure you guys know the truth and not the lies spewed out at job fairs and by CEOs. Most likely best case is a 5 year upgrade if you come here.

Default Fair

Guess I'll have to go to a fair if I want to be called. Congrats to those who did get the call. I've got 7100+, Director of Safety mark, Heavy Jet type rating and international experience, no busts, I'm an Aries, I like long walks on the beach and I can't buy a phone call. Not sure what else to do.

Just a guess, but you are probably seen as someone who wouldn't be around long because of your qualifications. If you go to a fair and use that opportunity to convince them that you want to be at Spirit long term, then I bet you get called. Best of luck.

This was my thoughts too.. With that qualifications, and you putting an app in. May tell them you're not that interested in Spirit. Now if you go to the job fair. It would show you wants to join Spirit. I'm sure you'll get a call after that. This is the reason many pilots (not just Spirit) get a call after job fairs and conferences.

Why do you want to come here? Wait for a major.

Any idea how long after the flight time assessment do they call? So what's the next step?
