The first two weeks are terrible 60hr weeks. After that it's more broken up with days off

How long total to finish sims and get the type? How long to get everything done and get to the line? I have a military school coming up and trying to figure out if I could finish sims take mil leave for a 5 week course and then get back into training.

Did you already get a job offer?

I'm not sure on the exact timeline these days and the implications of taking mil leave in the middle.

Dn_wisconsin on this board I think is in the training department so maybe try and send him a PM

Indoc and CPTs last about 2 weeks with one day off in the middle. Then a day or two off and CSIs start. Those last about 10-12 days with a few days off in there and end with the oral. Then FTDs and sim. Those last about 2 weeks start to finish and have a few days off. Then the average newhire has a week off until OE. Depending on scheduling can last a week or two.

When it's all said and done training takes about 2 months to complete.

The answer is no. You have 120 days to get 100 hours after your type rating. It's called consolidation of skills. We can increase it to 150 but don't want to unless it's really needs to be done. That reg is there for a reason. Do you really think you're going to retain anything 5 weeks later having not touched the plane?

You're new to 121. You'll have a big learning curve. It would not be smart to take a break in the middle for that long.

No he said abnormal attitude law. I misquoted him. As you can see we didn't touch on it much in my last recurrent with him. I can't even remember the darn name haha. But Im sure simeone ratted him out for bending the rules and letting people out early.

Thanks for the info. It's why I was asking for planning this school. I didn't think it'd be a good idea, but they're pushing me to lock in a date. No I haven't been hired by Spirit yet. have some offers from a couple of regionals, but would rather go to spirit or another national LLC. Looking within the year. Just getting a general idea as I assume most of the 121 training is similar in length.

4 and a type ride from the left seat. You need to learn both flows.
