Is moving a class date back a week or so to the next class usually an issue? I may have to move it for personal reasons but dont want to ruffle any feathers

Might cost you half a paycheck.

The good news is that he will hardly notice.

I've been furloughed by one class. A week earlier and I would have kept my job. Think about that.

I moved mine back a month with no issues. If you have another interview then you have no choice but to ask spirit to move your class date, or the other company to move your interview date. A buddy of mine ended up leaving spirit for Southwest and he was able to push his SWA interview off till he was done with training. If you are waiting on a job offer then just go to class and leave if you get the offer. I love when that happens.

If it is just personal reasons then go ahead and ask. I'm sure they can accommodate you.

I doubt it will ruffle any feathers in the hiring or training departments but as mentioned in another post I was also furloughed by two classes in 2008.

Holy smokes, yeah that is definitely something to keep in mind. I appreciate the feedback from everyone.
