Great chance, it's a panel HR, making sure you aren't a D Bag, easiest interview you will ever have.

I know Atlantic City is junior base; how soon to hold Las Vegas? Or others, for that matter.

Company culture seems good when I jumpseat, which is pretty frequently.

Vegas is senior on the FO side, can hold it probably 6-8 months from date of hire. Line probably running close to a year there. ACY is junior and the default automatic for one month after training. DTW and FLL right away after the 1 month ACY is up. ORD and DFW 2-3 months after training. Vegas 4-5 months after training.

How could we do that prior to arriving to training? I understand learning flows, memory items and limitations but how could we be preparing for the above?

You don't, and he isn't saying to. However, you do need to know all the flows, limitations, and memory items prior to day 1. Otherwise you'll be digging out of a hole trying to learn those while you're supposed to be learning the above.

Dear pilots at NK, I have a question for you all if you would kindly entertain it. I am thinking about applying to NK. Currently I am a grad student. Should I tell them that I am? I understand that the current hiring situation is one such that hiring standards are lower at NK. Will graduate student status be deemed a flight risk to them? Certainly it isn't a magic trigger to be hired by a legacy air carrier, but perhaps it will be construed as such.... Thanks for any insight that could be provided.

Best of luck. Just curious,...what is a "graduate student"?
