But if the VP of flight ops is sitting in the lobby at 8 AM with a yellow shirt on not talking to anybody then he is waiting for applicants to make the first move. Go ahead and introduce yourself. They are there to hire you, give them every opportunity to get to know you. The 7 hrs and 55 minutes that you are waiting to talk to a recruiter can be more valuable time than the 5 minutes you actually get with a recruiter. Good luck, I've enjoyed the process so far.
Great advice!! Take advantage of ALL the time spent there.

They are in a full throttle hiring boom! I know the class on the 7th has new hire instructors in there so they can keep the flow of hires coming.

I suspect he means new indoc instructors that are required to go through the program prior to teaching it. New instructors are also in the class with new pilots.

IDs on 3rd day-ish (somewhere in the first week)
CASS/KCM approval after PRIA is back (late 3rd week /beginning of 4th week after submission of paperwork)

Or were you referring to something else?

Can't comment on that but the guy I know was an RJ Captain and they offered a flow to First Officer if he'd teach ground school for a period of time. It works for him and he's a good fella!
