Yeah, the company proposal is laughable. They're living in some dreamland if the think that garbage is ratifiable.

Not only no, but FORNICATION NO!

How can you possibly say that not knowing what the union's proposal is? Because if the MEC and/or NC think, based on the company' offer, that we're "close" to a deal, then we're all in trouble.

Believe me, the members of N/C as of this weekend did not think we were close to a T/A. "Not even close" to be exact.

This is really a slap in the face.

Good on the Union for releasing the company proposal, so now we all know what kind of people we're dealing with in Miramar. It angers me to think the company thought we would vote that in.

I thought they at least brought it down to a 12 year scale. Everything else in the proposal sucks, but I was surprised to see 15 years still there.

The company proposed a goofy 13 year captain scale and 10 year FO scale. It's on the term sheet.

Y'all think that the company really wants to have an agreement "voted in"?
Perhaps they're just putting a "good faith" nod towards the NLRB to ensure that there is no release to self help imminent and perhaps one or two more summers of money will reign upon mgmt before the economy turns just in time for this proposal to seem ok since, "look UAL is furloughing".
Best of luck!
