Agreed. BTW, I just made up that 10 hr number as an example, similar to how A321 override is calculated. All pilots get it, whether they set foot in an A321 or not. Makes it much easier for payroll and bean counters.
On another note, everyone should keep in mind mgmt will only agree to any of our proposals if there's a perceived benefit to them (common sense) or they are forced to through arbitration...

Just a couple thoughts...
* Current offer plus $23M pre UA = no bueno.
* Bendo put out his podcast several days after the mec put out their offer, at which point he didn't seem aware.
* "super strong" merger protection included is a good thing. It wouldn't have been there had merger been an issue.

I believe you have to have a jcba before you can integrate labor groups. Is this news, or am I missing something??

However, when the topic of manual audot accounting was discussed the question was asked about simplifying our pay by block and better. Bendoritis said no changes to our convoluted pay had been discussed.

Alright, I'll throw this out there. I know most don't want to post their seniority, but to make my point, I have to. I've been here just shy of 18 months and have had 0, that's right ZERO, transition conflicts. I've had pretty sweet set ups only to not be able to hold the right lines in the following month to get a conflict. The only way it would be possible is to consistently bid reserve. I'm just under 50% in base so it's not like I'm junior....
But I'm tired of having to play the system to make up my pay. I want to be able to fly my line and not have to worry about Flicing off my schedule to constantly keep bidding these conflicts.

Here is one point that transition really helps, which I'm sure can be "saved."
I was a senior FO but watched JR Capts be on Res the last 5-6 days of the month, have 1 day off then back on Res for another 5-6. As a commuter, they would be away from home for almost two weeks. That's what got the transition ball rolling.
Also keep in mind the company guy that agreed to the transition conflict language was fired by BBB weeks after the ink dried. That's how the Co feels about transition.

Look it's pretty darned obvious management wants the transition conflict, if they get it, we better be getting AA/SWA/DAL rates for it rather than this crap that's out there now. Just by looking at that QOL thread, it's sure seeming like transition conflict isn't worth a whole lot as FOs over at the other places are making more than our captains.

It looks to me like companies that fly the 319, 320, and 321 fly a blended rate. Spirit is reducing the number of 319s while adding average seats per plane (320s and 321s). Is there a trigger in the current contract or coming TA that increases pay yearly (or quarterly) as deliveries increase the average number of seats flown?

Although many of you may not get a transition conflict, don't forget that you still are greatly benefiting from the increase in staffing that it creates. Probably 10% of the list below you is there because of it!
