Of course I realize that, you didn't understand what I was saying.

The reason for the speculation and the surprise/discussion of COD was completely because of the lack of details. I wasn't advocating releasing COD or anything like that, I was merely commenting on the reason for the sudden speculation.

I'll leave it at that, out of respect for the family. I've heard he was a really nice, personable guy, and those of us who never got a chance to fly with him are poorer for that fact.

Im not sure why theres been such a sudden flurry of this on the thread. No one seemed to even notice when he passed in September. Only 2 pilots showed up to his funeral yet we are all concerned now when the plane in question has been flying around for pushing 4 months since this happened. Sad all around...

It's very sad. I wish there was greater participation at his funeral, I don't remember seeing an email or notice about it. I think the increased notice is just because of this story about the BA fumes report and someone has asked about the correlation between the two.

It's a very sad story either way, it should make everyone treasure every moment they have alive, every breath they take.

I was friends with Jim. I still keep in touch with his dad.

Spirit has not released his final paycheck. Just saying. This is who we work for.

Many within Spirit ALPA have worked hard on Jim's behalf. I'm not sure what 'agenda' you're referring to.
